私たちは昭工舎は2019年に創業90周年を迎えました
- Shokosha celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2019. -
昭和4年(1929年) 創業者の山本多意吉により昭工舎の前身である「昭工舎電鍍金工場」が発足。
万年筆用クリップのメッキ加工を経て、腕時計の文字板作りを開始しました。その後、昭和12年(1937年) 株式会社昭工舎として設立。腕時計メーカーの大量生産体制の強化と共に受注が大幅に増え狭山工場・蕨工場が次々と新設されていきました。そして、昭和42年(1967年)すでに開始していた装飾品事業をさらに拡大する為、私たち「毛呂山工場」が新設されました。
In 1929, the precursor to Shokosha, known as the "Shokosha Electroplating Factory," was established by its founder, Taikichi Yamamoto. Initially specializing in electroplating for fountain pen clips, the company expanded its operations to include the production of watch dials. In 1937, Shokosha was formally incorporated as a company. With the strengthening of mass production capabilities for wristwatches, the company experienced a significant increase in orders, leading to the establishment of new facilities such as the Sayama and Warabi factories. In 1967, to further expand its decorative accessories business, the new "Moroyama Factory" was established.

We leverage the advantages of our factory by seamlessly carrying out every process from prototype production, casting, polishing, stone setting, to inspection. This collaborative effort among professionals in each stage allows us to continuously exchange ideas, striving to deliver products of superior quality to our customers. It is through this dedication that we have earned the trust of numerous brands over the years, establishing ourselves as a reputable jewelry manufacturer.

ジュエリーメーカーとして走り続ける為には技の継承は必須です。昭工舎では熟練の職人が自分が長年かけて身につけた技を惜しげもなく教えてくれます。その長年の経験に裏打ちされたひとつひとつの言葉が若い職人達へと脈々と継承されていきます。
To continue our journey as a jewelry maker, the inheritance of technique is indispensable. At Sho Kousha, skilled artisans generously impart the techniques they have honed over many years. Each word, backed by years of experience, is seamlessly passed down to the younger craftsmen, ensuring that it is inherited in our craft.
